The Mettler 2016 Petite Sirah exudes richness and complexity from the first sip. True to its varietal heritage, the color is dark and inky, hinting at the opulence to come. Pleasing aromas of red lico-rice, sweet berry and mocha are balanced by traces of mineral and earth. As it unfolds, the wine offers a beautiful swirl of juicy black currant and blueberry flavors with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and spice, reminiscent of a luscious berry cobbler.
