Girard Petite Sirah
2012 saw textbook growing conditions from Spring through harvest. Light rains held off until our grapes had achieved optimal ripeness. This bountiful harvest brought balanced ripeness and acidity with intense flavors. The nose shows aromas of violets, cassis, espresso, dark chocolate, and vanilla. On the palate the dark current, blackberry cobbler, and bacon notes fill the palate as the finish showcases bright acidity and rich, think tannins.
