B.R.Cohn
The founder of the winery is the famous musician and manager of the Rock-n-roll band Doobie Brothers, Bruce Cohn, who moved to Sonoma County with his family in 1950. He was growing the grapes here and selling them to local winemakers.
Over the time, he started to produce his own wine. In 1980, Olive Hill's Cabernet was selected by the White House as California's stellar example of red wine.
Today, in addition to wines, the B. R. Cohn & Olive Oil Company also produces quality olive oil, which is sold in selected stores.
