Sean Minor
The Sean Minor Winery was founded in 2005 by Sean and Nicol, who have been sharing their love of wine for over 30 years. They met at the University of Arizona and since they believe there are just few moments in life that aren’t paired perfectly with a great bottle of wine. After moving to California and Sean spent several years in the wine industry, they noticed that there was a gap in the market. They were yearning for wines that were easy to enjoy, highlighted the amazing fruit of California, and didn’t break the bank—„so we made them!“ says Sean.
With the help of family friend and colleague Will Bucklin, they began producing wines from premier appellations, sourced from vineyard sites strategically located near the cool, marine influences of the sun-filled California coast. Since they don’t own vineyards, they work diligently with sustainable, experienced farms throughout California and Oregon, where they have built strong relationships with some of the industry's best growers.
