Kendall-Jackson
Kendall-Jackson Winery was founded by Jess Jackson in 1974, when he acquired approximately 32 acres of orchards with hazelnuts in Lake County. He waited for nothing and replanted with Chardonnay and in 1982 Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay was released. In 1995, Jess purchased 2,000 acres along the Mayacamas in Alexander Valley, laying the foundation for the winery's top wines, Kendall-Jackson, Grand Reserve, Jackson Estate and Stature collections.
