Stewart Cellars
Stewart Cellars was founded in 2000 by Michael Stewart, his son James Stewart, daughter Caroline Stewart Guthrie and her husband Blair Guthrie. Family values are the alpha and omega of Stewart Cellars and permeate the entire winemaking process.
When Michael Stewart sold his technology company, he knew that the next step in his life would somehow be connected to his long-standing interest in wine. Over the course of several years, he made various trips to the Napa Valley and over time decided to settle down and build a family business there. Then, in 2000, he launched the initial small releases of handcrafted Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir varietals sourced from a selection of the best vineyards in Napa Valley and Sonoma County. He was subsequently joined by son James and daughter Caroline and her husband. Thanks to them, Michael's dream of putting down roots for the Stewart clan in Napa Valley is becoming a reality.
The entire vision of Stewart Winery revolves around the quest. The search for the ideal natural conditions to grow consistently fresh fruit that makes Stewart Cellars wines uniquely delicious and highly acclaimed beyond expectation.
Stewart Cellars offers wines of all popular varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé. The special NOMAD collection features limited production single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer Heritage Vineyards, one of the oldest vineyards in Napa Valley.
