The Coup de Foudre Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Baker’s chocolate. Dried currants, and fresh raspberry preserve form the aromatics. Warm. Integrated oak spices support a fine tannin profile underlined by fresh berries and cream, with hints of sage on the lengthy ripe fruit finish. Produced from our Calistoga Estate, this wine was barrel-aged in a combination of Taransaud, Treuil, Leroi and Sylvain cooperages for 18 months with 70% new oak. 900 cases produced.
