Shafer Vineyards Red Shoulder Ranch Chardonnay 2021

This "single-vineyard" Chardonnay from the Shafer winery comes from grapes that are carefully selected and the harvest is already reduced in the vineyard precisely for their better ripeness. The wine is then aged for 14 months on fine lees and does not undergo malolactic fermentation, so it retains great freshness and perfect acidity. Seductive aroma of white flowers, lemon peel, honeysuckle, cloves and flint. The wine has a beautiful balance between full body and freshness, and in the taste it brings tones of apricots, yellow melon, grapefruit and ripe pineapple, when all this is perfectly complemented by the present minerality and creates an endless aftertaste.
