Soul of a Lion is a famous and stunning wine originating directly from the unique terroir mountain DAOU in Paso Robles. The vineyard is located at more than 800 meters above sea level and its soil is made of calcareous clay. Winemaker Daniel Daou gives the wine special care, maturing it in the best French barrels for two years and then for a few more years on the bottle before it goes on sale. The wine literally explodes with the scent of blackberries, blueberries, black currants and licorice tobacco. Despite its fullness, it looks very elegant and drinkable and is complemented by fresh light acid with an incredibly long finish.
