At an elevation of 1,800 ft in the foothills at the very southern end of the Cascade Mountain range lies an oasis. The surrounding countryside is made of red volcanic rock but the small bowl where this Zinfandel is grown, is green with growth. A nearby spring separates this area and provides a spectacular and unusual location to grow Zinfandel. Hot days and very cool nights create grapes of amazing depth and fruit intensity.
