The golden color of the 2019 Dolce wine reminds us of a late sunny afternoon. On the palate there are distinct fruity and spicy notes of apricot, tangerine and cardamom along with a honeyed botrytis character. On the palate, which is coated and creamy, the promise of the aromas is filled with honey and citrus flavors that linger long into the finish. The juiciness and richness of this vintage also brings with it more subtle flavors of honeyed fruit, toasted coconut, baking spices, wet stone minerality and caramelized vanilla cream that is reminiscent of crème brulee.
