Gowan Creek Vineyard is located right in the heart of Anderson Valley and has a unique terroir due to the temperature differences in different parts of the vineyard. Each Pinot Noir clone here has been selected for the specific subsoil in which it is found. On the nose, you'll find cassis, black plum, blueberry and mint pouring along with notes of cedar and clove. On the juicy, plush palate, robust tannins and reviving acidity frame sumptuous flavors of black cherry and blackberry jam, while notes of sweet holiday spice emerge on the long, rich finish.
