"Le Barrettage" is a combination of the name Heidi Barrett and L'Hermitage, which refers to the varietal composition of this wine, which is based on the Syrah variety, which is typical of the northern Rhone region. The wine has a deep ruby colour with brick highlights. On the nose and palate, dark fruits and plums dominate with notes of smoked meat, black earth and spices. Very good acidity together with silky and now very well integrated tannins lead to a long and layered finish.
