The wine is ruby in colour with violet highlights. The aroma is distinctive, with a red cherry, sage, a hint of violets, spices and toast. The wine is full-bodied, with notes of ripe raspberries, blackcurrants, cherries, violets and toasty oak. The tannins are expressive but ripe. A fine and smooth aftertaste.
