Memorable vintage, deep soils from volcanic shale and tufa and aging in French and Hungarian barrels. The combination delivering a strong and well-structured Merlot with the scent of forest fruits and oak barrels. Mix of blueberries, plums, vanilla and thyme flavours. The tannin, acidity and flavours are nicely knit. Savoury herbs and sweet berries are met with a clean, mineral finish.
