Chappellet is the only Pritchard Hill winery licensed to use this appellation and this is their flagship from the area. An incredibly concentrated and layered wine full of dark fruits, blackberries, cassis, complemented by floral notes of violets, anise, vanilla, graphite, cloves and dark chocolate. The wine has firm tannins, juicy acidity and an endless finish. This wine is destined for a long aging in the cellar.

The wine has a dark ruby ​​color. The nose is dominated by fruity aromas of dark fruit, cassis, cherries, marigolds, complemented by spicy notes of cloves, vanilla and baked toast. The taste is powerful and structured, with firm but ripe tannins. The acidity is juicy and the finish is very long and layered.
