Melka
The owners of the winery Philippe and Cherie Melka produce only 4 brands of wine. Métissa and CJ from Napa Valley, Mekerra from Sonoma Valley and Majestique from around the world.
Phillipe has worked in winemaking and oenology at iconic wineries around the world such as Chateau Haut-Brion, Chittering Estate and Dominus. Cherie has not been left behind and has apprenticed at iconic California wineries such as Ridge Vineyards, Beaulieu and Silver Oak Cellars.
It all started in 1996 when they put their own Melka brand on the map, then with only two wines, Métisse and CJ, and a production of only 6,000 bottles. Today, they have two vineyards and their own winery and produce a total of 12 distinctive wines.
