This Cabernet Sauvignon from Dancing Bear Ranch, Howell Mountain is one of Cakebread's flagship wines. Each block of vines is harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified separately. The wine is then cellared and aged in French barrels. The final wine is structured and harmonious at the same time with notes of black currant, dried cherry, dark chocolate, coffee bean and dried rosemary. As the wine ages, it develops notes of figs and dried fruits. The wine has opulent tannins, tangy acidity leading to a very long fruity finish.
