Grapes for Cline Pinot Noir come from Mendocino County, Lake County, Redwood Valley and Petaluma Gap. All of these AVAs are ideal for the Pinot Noir variety. The wine has a light ruby color with brick highlights. Red berry fruit dominates the nose and palate with notes of sweet spice and black tea. The wine is partially aged in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. It has soft tannins, juicy acidity and a long spicy finish.
