DAOU Chardonnay 2022 shows rich and opulent aromas of pineapple, vanilla bean, mango, hazelnut and nutmeg. Floral notes of honeysuckle and star jasmine are accented by sweet ginger and lemon zest. The palate shows round, silky flavors of Bartlett pear, Crenshaw melon, kiwi and fresh pineapple. Notes of Golden Delicious apple and papaya are complemented by lemon tart and crushed almond, while notes of white peach, citrus zest and cinnamon emerge on the long, lovely finish.
