Highland Divide is a classic Green Valley DuMOL Pinot and shows a beautiful balance between fresh berry fruit, savory woody terroir signatures, lively lifting acidity and a rounded base of tannins from grapes grown on poor sloping soils. The wine is beautifully smooth from the first entry to the lingering aftertaste.
Aromas of violets, orange peel and red apples appear alongside dark raspberry and black cherry. The wine has deep inner fruit power and is immediately generous and round. Mossy notes add to the wine's appeal. The palate is medium-bodied, supple and elegant with good mineral balance and a brisk lively finish. In the mouth there are lingering notes of currant and hibiscus. Drinks from mid-2024 to 2030.
