On the nose, dark blueberries and blackberries stand out with mineral notes of crushed stones along with forest undergrowth and violets. On the palate the wine is dense but velvety with fruity notes of cherry and spice, star anise and tarragon. Silky tannins and zesty acidity predispose this wine to longevity. Very long and elegant finish.
