The wine comes from vineyards planted by Mika's father, George, back in 1975. After fermentation, the wine matured in French barrels, a third of which were new, as is the case every year. It has a very intense ruby colour. The aroma is dominated by sweet raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. These are complemented by hints of flowers, tea tones and spices. The full body is perfectly balanced with pleasant acidity and light tannins.
