Bright, dark purple colour. The nose shows black cherry, blackcurrant and plum combined with leather, cigar box and dried sage, vanilla pod, dried violet, oak and a little camphor. The palate is full-bodied with a mix of black cherry, blueberry, cassis and blackberry with baking spices. The mid-palate shows dusty tannins with cedar, dried tobacco leaf and saddle leather as it progresses. The finish is long, fresh and balanced with notes of bay leaf, dried red rose petals, oak and persistent tannins.
