The cooler climate of the Monterey region produces wines that are elegant yet intense. Red berry fruits, raspberries, currants, cranberries, but also rhubarb and pomegranate predominate on the nose and in the taste. Everything is complemented and very well integrated notes after aging in oak barrels, tobacco, black tea and sweet spices. The wine has pleasant tannins, lively acidity and a very long finish.

Pinot Gris from the perhaps somewhat unknown AVA Monterey. The vineyards in this area are heavily influenced by the proximity of the Pacific Ocean, from where cold winds blow. These result in a slow and gradual ripening of the grapes and the wines, so they have very good structure and intensity. This Pinot Gris is no exception. White peach and floral notes dominate the nose and palate. The wine is full-bodied but with nice acidity and a very long finish.

A fuller style Chardonnay from Sonoma County. The nose and taste are dominated by ripe citrus, pears and white peach. All this is underlined by nicely integrated notes of sweet spices after aging in oak barrels. The wine is balanced, structured with very pleasant acidity and a long aftertaste.

The wine has a deep ruby colour. On the nose the wine is intense with aromas of ripe black cherries and plums. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with savoury dark fruit, cassis and sweet spices. Attractive acidity along with firm and ripe tannins lead to a long and spicy finish.
