Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon Lokoya, from the legendary oenologist Chris Carpenter, is one of this winery’s four wines. The Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon is, and always will be, the least accessible of these wines due to its structure. However, if you give it time and allow it to mature sufficiently in the bottle, it will reward you with incredible depth and character. The wine has a deep ruby to inky colour. The nose and palate are dominated by fresh dark berry fruit, complemented by spicy and earthy notes. The wine has pronounced acidity, ripe but coarse tannins and a very long, dusty finish.
