Élu means "chosen" in French. It is a red cuvée specially selected by winemaker Michael Scholz, based primarily on the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. The wine is rich but elegant on the nose and palate. It is dominated by notes of black plum, blackberry, anise, graphite, cocoa, espresso, black pepper and liquorice. Very long and captivating finish.
