The wine has an opaque deep purple colour. Notes of mulberries, dark blackberries, dark chocolate and leather dominate the nose and palate. A full-bodied and rich wine with tangy acidity, silky tannins and a long extractive finish.

The wine is dark purple in colour with ruby highlights. On the nose the wine has ripe notes of plum, cocoa, black pepper, cedar and forest undergrowth. On the palate, the wine is robust and full-bodied with similar aromas to those on the nose, complemented and sweetened by spice after aging in oak barrels. The wine has soft tannins, tangy acidity and a long spicy finish.
