Morning in Livermore Valley — thick veils of fog hover over the vineyards and cool air carries the freshness that will give this wine its unmistakable character. This climatic phenomenon lent its name to the Wente Vineyards Morning Fog Chardonnay 2023. And the name Wente is no casual label — it is the legacy of America's oldest continuously operating family winery, growing wine since 1883.

The glass shows a bright golden color. The aromas are refreshing and fruit-forward: green apple, lemon zest, white peach, gentle blossom and the minerality of the Wente Clone — the special Chardonnay cutting that the Wente family brought from France in 1912 and which today accounts for more than 75% of all Chardonnay planted in California. On the palate there is a light creaminess, clean acidity and a pleasantly fresh, fruity finish. Tannins are zero.

Serve at 8–10 °C alongside fish dishes, chicken in herbed butter, spring vegetable cream soup or light cheeses. Cellar up to 3–5 years. Shipped directly from our warehouse in Prague.
