The grapes for this wine come from one of the best mountainous sub-regions of Napa Valley. This makes for an elegant, structured wine with firm tannins. Red and black berry fruit, blackberries, raspberries, blackcurrants dominate the nose and palate, complemented by notes of baking spices, anise, clove and fresh mint. The wine is balanced with very attractive acidity and an endless fresh finish.
