Iron Corral Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby color and an initial aroma of anise, Santa Rosa plums, and tobacco with a hint of chicory. Firm tannins on the palate underscore a flavor profile that mirrors the aroma—fresh red fruit, tobacco, and anise—complemented by warm, spicy notes. The finish balances the body with fresh fruit, creating a sense of warmth and liveliness with every sip.
The 2023 vintage is characterized by one of the longest growing seasons in the last ten years. Mild weather led to above-average yields. Thanks to heavy winter rains, the reservoirs were full and the soil was saturated. The winter rains provided the vines with much-needed moisture as they awoke from their winter slumber. Cool weather and sunshine allowed for slow ripening, resulting in deep and vibrant flavors.
