The wine is dark garnet in colour. The nose is dominated by aromas of ripe fruit, blackberries and cassis, complemented by notes of dark chocolate, toasted bread crust and cedar. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful with notes of ripe redcurrant, bay leaf and cassis. Spicy acidity along with firm tannins lead into a long and silky finish.
