Zinfandel from a vineyard that was planted on average 90 years ago. Very intense purple colour with ruby highlights. Aromas of blueberries, red cherries, pepper and dark chocolate dominate on the nose and palate.

Dark purple shades with black cherry, dark plum, black olive, soy, dried plucked fruit, lilac, dried rose petals, cedar, juniper berries and icy green mint. A fresh entry with building tannins that cover the entire palate. Gravelly, dusty and mineral notes give way to layers of red and black fruits. Integrated oak with youthful tannins and acidity. It is very suitable for ageing.

Amazing full bodied wine from Ridge

The wine has a light straw color. Citrus and citrus blossom, honeysuckle, and apricot notes dominate the nose and palate, along with a strong mineral line. The wine has a spicy acidity and a long, juicy finish.

To us, this is one of the best showing what Petite Sirah can offer. Some of the vines in the vineyard are over 100 years old and give small but concentrated flavors.
