Schramsberg Vineyards J. Schram Blancs 2014

Schramsberg Vineyards J. Schram Blancs 2014

Strict grape selection and 8 years of aging on the lees make J. Schram Blancs a worthy tribute to the winery's founder Jacob Schram. This sparkling wine is primarily based on the Charodnnay variety. On the nose one can smell baked peaches, caramelized apples, marzipan, brioche, vanilla and citrus cream. On the palate, the wine is intense with concentrated notes of tropical fruit, citrus, cream and butterscotch. Very elegant bubbles along with crisp acidity give the wine an incredible freshness slowly flowing into a very long finish.
