Orin Swift
Orin Swift is now an indispensable brand of California winemaking. A winery founded by Dave Phinney in 1998. The winery's name was born by combining Dave's father's middle name, Orin, and his mother's maiden name, Swift.
Dave's love of wine was born in Italy, where he was a semester student in 1995. In 1997, he was given the opportunity to help harvest at the Robert Mondavi winery as a temporary worker, and in 1998 he began writing the history of his own winery.
