The wine has a dark ruby colour with garnet reflections. Dark berries dominate the nose and palate, along with notes of graphite and blackcurrant leaves. Very juicy acidity, firm tannins and a long, structured finish mean that this wine will age well in the bottle for another 10 years.

On the nose the wine is intense with dominant notes of dark berry fruit, spice and graphite. On the palate, the wine is structured with expressive notes of mulberries, blackberries and cassis complemented by notes of freshly cut pencil, forest floor and cedar. The wine has firm, ripe tannins, tangy expressive acidity and a very long and spicy finish. A wine that can age very well in bottle.
