A selection of wines from the iconic Ridge Vineyards winery. One of the first California wineries to bottle its wines based on individual vineyards and regions of California, under the direction of oenologist David Raplh Bennion. This pioneering idea was subsequently adopted by more and more wineries. Their iconic wine from Estate Vineyard Montebello, which incidentally helped put California on the map of the wine world, is still the best of the state today and also part of this tasting package.

This combination of differernt terroir elicit a wonderfully concentrated, expressive, classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with a beautiful nose redolent of fresh, ripe blackberry and black plum jam, gently framed by notes of dried thyme and toast.

Cabernet Sauvignon from the slopes of Alexander Valley, dominated by aromas of fresh red plums and dark berries, with hints of blackcurrant and milk chocolate in the background. All complemented by notes of dried figs and sweet spices. The wine has pronounced acidity, firm tannins, and a very long finish.

The wine is very structured, rich and fresh. The wine is very intense on the nose and palate with notes of ripe blackcurrant, vanilla, cocoa and dried herbs.
