The Pinot Noir grapes were grown and harvested with the intention of producing rosé. It is therefore not a by-product of red wine production, known as Saignee Rosé. Immediately after harvesting, the grapes are lightly pressed whole, the skins are removed, and fermentation takes place in seasonal French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Stainless steel preserves the primary fruit aroma and freshness of the wine, while neutral French oak barrels add a rich texture and light spice that beautifully complement the rich fruit flavor. The wine has a classic "Oeil De Perdrix" or "Partridge Eye" color - pink with copper tones. The nose offers aromas of nectarines, peaches, and apricots complemented by refreshing citrus notes. The palate features plums, peaches, honeydew melon, and ripe nectarines complemented by lively acidity. Long finish. The wine is perfect for a picnic - with grilled chicken or sushi.
